Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
Order details — your name, phone number and delivery address, so we can confirm and ship your order.
Account details — your phone number and settings when you use the Garlic app.
Audio and summaries — audio is captured only while the pendant is switched on. It is processed into text summaries, to-dos and reminders. The raw audio is deleted right after processing; we keep the summaries in your account until you delete them.
Usage data — basic, first party analytics about how the website and app are used, so we can fix problems and improve. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the storefront.
How we use it
To deliver your order, run the pendant service, send your WhatsApp summaries and reminders, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and your conversations are never an advertising product.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run Garlic — for example transcription and AI processing, WhatsApp message delivery, and logistics partners for shipping. They may only use the data to perform that service for us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Summaries stay until you delete them or your chosen retention period ends. Order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting law. Raw audio is not retained after processing.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, and export your summaries, from the Garlic app at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal data, except records we must keep by law. To make a request, use the app or email support@garlic.today.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information as if it were our own.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
